Kematian adalah sesuatu yang pasti dilalui oleh setiap makhluk yang bernyawa. Namun, kita tidak pernah diberitahu, bilakah masanya ajal kita akan tiba.
Baru-baru ini, keluarga kami telah mendapat 2 berita kematian yang agak mengejutkan. Bermula dengan sepupu saya, yang telah kembali ke rahmatullah sewaktu bekerja di luar kawasan kerana terkena heart attack. Manakala, 5 hari yang lepas, allahyarhamah nenek saya pula telah kembali kepadaNya sewaktu beliau sedang tidur.
Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raajiu’n.
Tidak orang yang akan menafikan bahawa akan tiba suatu hari, dia pasti akan mati. Namun, persoalannya adakah kita sudah bersedia untuk mati?
Mati ini boleh datang tanpa diduga. Dalam keadaan tiada sebarang accident dan juga tiada sebarang sakit pun, Allah swt boleh ambil nyawa kita.
Hari ini, kita sibuk menghabiskan masa kita untuk mengusahakan keperluan dunia. Sedangkan dunia ini, hanyalah satu destinasi persinggahan semata-mata. Apa yang kekal adalah apa yang akan kita bawa ke sana (iaitu keperluan akhirat kita).
Segala keperluan di akhirat, tidak dapat kita usahakan apabila tiba di sana. Bila mana, mata kita sudah ditutup untuk selama-lamanya, semua usaha kita untuk keperluan kedua-dua alam ini juga turut terhenti. Apa yang kita sudah ada pada masa dan saat itu, itulah juga yang akan kita bawa ke akhirat. Bekalan itu jugalah yang menentukan, samada tempat kita adalah di syurga, mahupun di neraka.
Diibaratkan, satu hari sebuah lori yang berisi kicap telah accident. Maka terkeluarlah seluruh isi lori tersebut, iaitu kicap. Begitu juga dengan lori yang membawa ayam, jika ia accident, maka ayam lah yang akan terkeluar daripada lori tersebut.
Begitu juga dengan manusia. Apabila sampai sahaja masa untuk mati (yang diibaratkan seperti accident kerana kita tidak menduganya), maka apa yang ada dalam hatinya pada masa itu, akan terkeluarlah daripada mulutnya.
Jika di hatinya penuh dengan kebesaran Allah SWT, maka yang akan keluar dari mulutnya adalah nama Allah. Manakala jika dalam hatinya penuh dengan kebesaran makhluk, maka yang akan keluar daripada mulutnya adalah bicara tentang makhluk (nauzubillahi min zalik)
Satu cerita yang boleh kita ambil iktibar. Seorang pemandu teksi yang rutin hariannya adalah memanggil orang untuk menaiki teksinya. perkataan yang setiap hari diucapkannya adalah ” Bukit Mertajam - Butterworth!! ” berkali-kali ia laungkan perkataan tersebut setiap hari.
Di saat-saat dia sedang nazak, keluarganya membisikkan di telinganya, sebutlah Laailaahaillallah. Tetapi apa yang keluar hanyalah, ” Bukit Mertajam - Butterworth!! . Berkali-kali dia sebutkan perkataan itu, walaupun sudah puas dipujuk oleh ahli keluarganya. Dan akhirnya, beliau telah meninggal dengan perkataan tersebut sebagai kalimah terakhirnya.
Nau’zubillah hi min zaalik.
Dalam sebuah hadis disebutkan;
Rasulullah saw bersabda; “Barangsiapa yang mengucapkan “laailaaha illallah wa anni Rasulullah” (tiada tuhan yang layak disembah melainkan Allah, dan aku adalah rasul Allah) maka wajib syurga baginya.“
Oleh itu, adalah sangat penting untuk kita mengusahakan atas keyakinan dan keimanan kita kepada Allah SWT, pada setiap masa dan ketika, selagi kita masih berpeluang untuk melakukannya.
Kita perlu menggunakan seluruh pancaindera kita untuk mendengar, melihat dan menyebut tentang kebesaran Allah, berulang-ulang kali setiap hari, supaya dalam hati kita akan timbul rasa yakin terhadap kekuasaan Allah. Sekaligus membuang semua kebesaran makhluk yang bertapak sekian lama dalam hati kita.
Masih ada masa untuk kita berusaha untuk memperbaiki dan mengusahakan atas iman kita. Yakinlah bahawa, Allah SWT Maha Kuasa, semua makhluk tidak ada kuasa.
Mudah-mudahan, Allah swt akan memilih kita untuk mengakhiri kalam kita dengan kalimah taiyibah, yakni kalimah yang sangat ringan di lidah, tetapi sangat berat dalam timbangan Allah swt.
Di kesempatan ini, saya ingin membuat sedikit pengumuman, bahawa ini adalah posting saya yang terakhir untuk blog ini. Saya mohon maaf, andaikata ada tersalah bicara, atau terkasar bahasa sepanjang mengendalikan blog MajlisImpian.com.
